Prayer for the week
Almighty God, you sent your son Jesus Christ
to be the light of the world.
Free us from all that darkens and ensnares us,
and bring us to eternal light and joy;
through the power of him who is alive and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in  heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our  debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us  from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the  power, and the glory for ever.
Amen.
